Mrs. Black’s students created cars and then gathered data for distance and acceleration based on different weights. They will calculate the multiplicative results from their trial runs. Thank you to our District ILCs and the iTow Truck!

Today we celebrated Carolyn Lewis Celebration Day in honor of our school’s namesake and her birthday!
Our halls were filled with signs, balloons, and pride as we honored Mrs. Lewis’ lasting impact on education. We were also blessed with special guest interviews from her children — Duane Lewis, Sheriff of Berkeley County, and Nancy Leigh, Principal at Bowen’s Corner Elementary — who continue carrying on her incredible legacy!
