Today’s Loggerhead Leader of the Day is Jaxen Ryals in 6th grade! Jaxen brings incredible energy and enthusiasm to everything he does. He comes to school ready to learn, stays engaged, and always brings a positive attitude that lifts those around him.

Our Annual First Grade Gingerbread House Building Event kicked off this morning! First grade teachers invited families and 8th grade students to join in, creating a fun and supportive experience for our students. This wonderful tradition is one we are so happy to continue each year with our amazing first grade team.










Meet our Loggerhead Leader of the Day: Everett Netherton! Always supportive, always helpful—Everett makes a difference every day. From assisting peers and teachers to leading activities as a Renaissance Ambassador, he shows what it means to be a true leader in his school and community!

Our Renaissance Ambassadors are spreading the love of reading! Ms. Martinez’s Kindergarten class is joining a peer reading buddy experience where our 8th-grade Ambassadors are paired with younger friends to share stories, build confidence, and create meaningful connections across grade levels through literacy.









Ms. Miscavige’s homeroom takes the win! Thanks to their outstanding canned food donations, they earned the Silly String Dr. Baird Reward!!





Nothing kicks off a Tuesday better than breakfast sandwiches! Huge thanks to our CLS PTA and Rocco’s Roadside for the delicious start.

Our Loggerhead Luminary of the Week comes from 8th grade: Ms. O’Neal!
Ms. O’Neal leads our Renaissance Ambassador Program and proudly holds the title of CLS’s first-ever Teacher of the Year. She is known for creating a positive, engaging learning environment and for building meaningful connections with every student she encounters. Ms. O’Neal consistently strives to establish strong rapport and provide unwavering support to both students and staff.

Cold temperatures are expected as we head to school tomorrow. Please help your student dress for the weather by adding layers, warm hats, gloves, and appropriate shoes—especially during arrival and outdoor transitions.

We jingled all the way through the Goose Creek Christmas Parade! We loved seeing some familiar faces! This was a first for CLS, and we’re excited to start a brand-new holiday tradition filled with cheer and community spirit!

Principal Pals kicked off Friday morning with BIG energy! Students from every grade level met with our Administrators to share ideas, talk about school life, and help shape an even better CLS!
