Introducing CLS Run Club! Run Club is open to all RUNNERS and WALKERS in Grades 5–8 !
This is a welcoming, low-pressure way for students to stay active after school. Whether students are experienced runners or just getting started, everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace while building confidence, friendships, and healthy habits. Students interested in joining should pick up a permission slip from their homeroom teacher. Participants will also have the opportunity to prepare for the Bright Ideas 5K at Cypress Gardens on April 25.

100 days of learning, growth, and memories! Our grade levels will be celebrating the 100th Day of School with fun and meaningful activities over the next few days as we reflect on growth and all we’ve accomplished so far.

Literacy Night is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to read, explore, and celebrate the joy of literacy together. We can’t wait to see our CLS community come together for a night of imagination, connection, and learning!

This week we are proud to recognize Mrs. Miscavige as our Loggerhead Luminary of the Week! She brings passion and purpose into everything she does, always putting students first and leading with a kind, caring heart. Starting this week, CLS will administer the ACCESS for ELLs assessment to our Multilingual Learner (ML) students. ACCESS is an annual state-required assessment that measures students’ growth in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. The results help determine students’ progress in English language development and guide instructional supports and services for the upcoming school year.
We encourage families to ensure students are well rested, arrive on time, and do their very best. While ACCESS is not a pass-or-fail test, it plays a critical role in supporting our ML students’ academic success and ensuring they receive the appropriate resources to thrive. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to help all Loggerheads reach their full potential.
