We love a good adventure story! Our 8th graders recently took learning beyond the classroom with a visit to Patriot Point in Mount Pleasant. From exploring historic ships to diving into the stories of those who served, it was a day full of discovery, history, and unforgettable experiences.

Help us name the Carolyn Lewis School Sensory Garden! We are thrilled to begin creating this incredible outdoor learning space where our students will explore through sight, sound, touch, smell, and movement while enjoying a calming environment that supports hands-on learning and whole-child wellness.

Now it’s your turn to be part of the excitement—students, staff, and families are invited to submit a creative, meaningful, and school-spirited name inspired by CLS, Lewie the Loggerhead, the Loggerheads, Let’s Make Waves, or coastal garden themes by March 13th, and our community will vote! Use the link to share your idea and help us name a space that celebrates who we are and the waves we’re making at CLS.
