-Proceeds will help us enhance our outdoor spaces with shade, playground equipment, and flexible furniture, PLUS support CLS programs for students and staff.

Our first Loggerhead Leader of the Day this week is Olivia McCulley! Olivia shines as a role model with her positive attitude and kind spirit. Way to go, Olivia!

Students can earn a FREE Bundt Cake by reading 400 minutes a month and turning in their completed reading log at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Summerville! Let’s encourage our students to read every day and enjoy a sweet reward for their hard work!

Our final Loggerhead Leader of the day for this week is Lillain Riordan! Lillain leads with kindness, respect, and a big heart. Whether it’s helping classmates, showing perseverance, or setting a positive example. She proves that leadership has no age limit!

Today, Thursday, September 4th, we celebrate Jaylen Williams as our Loggerhead Leader of the Day! Jaylen’s positive vibes, empathy, and compassion inspire everyone around him!

We’re excited to celebrate Blakely Neel as our Loggerhead Leader of the Day for Friday, August 29th! She spreads positivity wherever she goes and reminds us all how powerful kindness can be.

Mrs. King’s 8th graders took Science outside today with a good old-fashioned game of Tug of War! With our special guest Dr. Batkins! Students got to feel the push and pull of balanced and unbalanced forces and see how friction plays a role—all part of our motion unit. Lots of teamwork, laughter, and hands-on learning made it a win for science and fun!

Cheez-Its + Math = The Perfect Combo!
Ms. Nelson’s class took learning square roots to a whole new level in the Cheez-It Lab! Students used the tasty squares to build, count, and discover how numbers fit perfectly into squares. Who knew math could be this delicious?

¡Qué divertido! Yesterday our Spanish students learned about La Tomatina, the famous tomato festival held every year on the last Wednesday of August in Buñol, Spain! To bring this cultural celebration to life, students had their own "food fight" using paper tomatoes - all the fun of this Spanish tradition without the mess!

It's amazing how language learning comes alive when we explore the rich traditions and festivals from Spanish-speaking countries. Our students not only practiced their Spanish but also gained a deeper appreciation for cultural celebrations around the world.
