Our CTE programs truly make a positive difference out in our community! This morning four former BCSD students - Shelby Miyazaki, Joquise Wright, Eric Huff and Javon Talley - spoke to Berkeley County business and community leaders about how our CTE programs impacted their lives and set them up for success post-graduation.
Showing BCSD's instructional coaches some love this week! Instructional coaches meet up every month to discuss and learn new ways to better support teachers and students at school. When they met up on Monday, instructional coaches participated in a belated Valentine's Day-themed activity where they wrote words of encouragement and gratitude to one another on post-its and stuck them to personalized posters hanging up around the room. Coaches also enjoyed lunch provided by Stratford High's culinary arts students.
Thanks you, instructional coaches, for all that you do!

Surf's up with school breakfast! Did you know next week is National School Breakfast Week? For eating school breakfast, students will be entered to win daily and grand prizes from our child nutrition services team. #makingapositivedifference
