Check out Mrs. Haase's class using pantomime to create scenes from the book Watson's Go to Birmingham.
Each group chose a scene from the book. The students then created a starting tableau. From there, they brought the scene to life! Students used pantomime to finish the scene.
Pantomime brings a narrative to life without words. Students use facial expression, gesture and movement to tell a story.

We are pleased to share our 2024 HBE Teacher of the Year nominees April Ash, Kaitlin Craven and Laurel Leach !❤️🌿

We love when our favorite reading buddy, Scout, joins us for reading time. Third graders practice their weekly reading books to prepare for their reading time with Scout every other week.
