🎺✨ HBE welcomed the incredible Kanola Brass Band to our school on Friday! ✨🎺

Our students experienced New Orleans–inspired soul, powerful brass, and grooves ranging from jazz to funk — all delivered with high-energy, authentic, unforgettable vibes! The excitement in the room was electric, and our students were completely engaged from the first note to the last.

This amazing performance was made possible because of the funds YOU ALL raised during Boosterthon!!! 💙 Thank you to our families and community for supporting opportunities that bring the arts to life for our students.

🎭 Arts Experiences for Every Student at H.E. Bonner! 🎺

Our goal is to bring two professional performances to students each year and host an artist-in-residency week so students can see, learn from, and collaborate with working artists.

This year so far:
* We hosted the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble for a school performance.
* We held a hands-on artist-in-residency week.

Coming up: 🗓 Friday, Feb 20 — The Charleston Battery Brass Band will perform for our students!

These experiences give students real-world exposure to the arts and inspire creativity in the classroom. Families — thanks for supporting arts for all our Little Foxes! 🦊❤️
