Art 1 S's conducted a drawing contest with a theme of "Winter kNight." S's voted on sketches and the winning sketch was selected for the BCSD Celebrate the Season board. Brian H's sketch was chosen and with the help of Iryce, Sariah, Kiersten, and Lisa it was then painted on an 8ft plywood board. It will be displayed at Santee Canal Park's Celebrate the Season event starting 12/4/23.

Congrats to our second round of National Lunch Week winners, Cooper and Kendrick! Thanks to child nutrition for the super cool prizes!

Our families had so much fun learning at the Title I Annual Meeting and Trivia event! We "TACO"ed about iReady, Schoology, Parent Portal, Title I, and then had some intense trivia competition. Thanks to our CPM dance groups that performed between each round and huge shoutout to La Mixteca for the most amazing food and service!

We have a published author at College Park Middle! 7th grader, Virginia Haynes, is doing amazing things. Hot off the press, we received the 2023 copy of the Appelley Publishing Poetry Collection of Young Poets where Virginia's poem titled, "Me" is included.
