Our final Renaissance student leadership meeting of the year was a blast! Celebrating this amazing group of kiddos that have worked hard to ensure all students and staff feel seen, heard, and loved all year was a treat! We will miss our 8th grade crew, but can't wait to see what next year's students bring to the mix! #JostensRenaissance #MidAtlanticRenRegion

Students in Ms. Shoemaker's math class wrapped up an extension activity on probability at the end of the year by playing rock, paper, scissors. Each student started with 3 necklaces, gaining and losing necklaces as they won or lost.

Mental Health Awareness Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans’ lives and to celebrate recovery from mental illness. For more than 20 years, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has recognized Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM) every May to increase awareness about the vital role mental health plays in our overall health and well-being and provide resources and information to support individuals and communities who may need mental health support. Face-to-face conversations can foster #mentalhealth development, enhance communication skills, and build confidence. 💪Talk to your children and teens about mental health. Need help getting started?
