We are so proud of the hard work put in by our Girls on the Run fall season crew! They tackled their final goal of the season early Saturday morning by completing a 5K. Thanks to the coaches and families that supported them all season!

Student Renaissance meetings are connecting our team in more ways than one. Today we connected our character of the month, citizenship, with a @jostensrenaissance lesson titled "What is community?" Berkeley County School District will utilize the Teacher Workday/Inclement Weather Day on October 11 as a weather make-up, e-Learning Day for students, as designated in the BCSD Instructional Calendar. This adjustment is necessary due to the postponement of the first day of school from August 14 to August 15, following impacts of Tropical Storm Debby.

Due to forecasted impacts of Hurricane Helene, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Friday, September 27. All after-school activities and after-school care programs will close at 6 p.m. this evening.
All schools and offices will be closed Friday, and before and after-school care programs are canceled. As the storm system is projected to move out of the area that afternoon, after school activities may resume after 4 p.m. on Friday.
