7th Grader, Jeremy Gonzalez, was one of 9 middle school students from Berkeley County at the All-State Band Clinic this weekend at Furman University. All-State Band is the highest individual honor available to a band student in South Carolina. It is a musical All-Star Team! Congratulations Jeremy and Mr. Trauger!

This morning, our Renaissance Ambassadors visited homerooms to support Read Across America Week. They engaged in read-aloud sessions and had discussions about literacy with our students during morning meetings!
The BCSD Student, Teacher, and Parent Climate Surveys window opened on Monday March 3rd and will close Friday March 21st. All students in grades 3-12 and all teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, ROTC instructors, career specialists, and speech therapists are expected to participate in the survey. All parents are encouraged to participate. Please see the 2024-25 Student, Teacher, and Parent Climate Surveys document for additional information.
