The book fair is less than a week away! Class previews begin this Wednesday through homeroom classes. Use the QR code to see our Scholastic CLS Book Fair page and set up your ewallet before the fair opens on Monday. Our library staff have been hard at work and can't wait to share our students' (and staff members) excitement when they visit.
We are just over a week away from our Fall Fest and Trunk or Treat event! To go with our Homecoming Spirit Week we are having a school wide Candy Competition!
The GRADE level that collect the most candy this week will be able to vote as a homeroom for their desired reward!

This past week has been a lab filled week! First we ran relays and calculated our own speeds. Then we had “superworms” and got to calculate their speeds and practice making graphs with that data. It was a busy week but overall it was a blast in class!

The Book Fair is coming! Visit our school book fair page using the QR code. Parents can set up their ewallet, preview books, or shop online on our website. The fair will also be open from 5:00-7:00 p.m during Fall Festival.
Throwback to our first week of school!8th grade students participated in a lab where they got to blow bubbles and collect data with different brands of soap. The lab was filled with laughter and excitement as students got to mix their science observations with a little bit of fun!

Students in Second Grade will be administered the CogAT and Iowa assessments as part of South Carolina’s Grade 2 Gifted and Talented Assessment Program in October.
Check it out! Maybe some future Architects and Engineers in the making? Dr. Matthews' 3rd graders built curved ramps. Students studied what happens to the marble on a flat surface and on the curved ramp!

CLS Renaissance Team is excited to host our first Spirit Week of the year! We align our fall spirit weeks with the homecomings of our local high schools. Cane Bay's Homecoming kicks off next week!
