Rising 8th and 9th graders interested in leadership, teamwork, and JROTC are invited to Cane Bay High School’s AFJROTC Summer Leadership Camp. Lead Camp runs July 27–30 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Cane Bay High School and is designed to help future cadets start the school year confident and prepared.
Students will take part in team-building activities, drill instruction, aviation simulators, physical training, and more. Participants will receive lunch daily, be fitted for their uniform, earn community service hours, have opportunities for early promotion, and receive two unit t-shirts. Cost is $100. Our Loggerhead Leader of the Day is Jazlyn Hiott Mendoza! Jazlyn Esther lights up the classroom with her cheerful spirit and caring heart. She is diligent, respectful, and always eager to do her best.

We celebrated two BIG wins this morning!
A portion of our Run Club members completed their FIRST 5K together! Shout out to Mrs. Infinger for organizing this amazing opportunity —we’re already excited for next year!
We also had the honor of celebrating Mrs. King and Mrs. Porciuncula at their Bright Ideas Grant Award Ceremonies!These outstanding educators brought forward innovative ideas that will make a lasting impact on our CLS students.




That’s a wrap on our FINAL Renaissance Rally of the school year!
We threw it back 90’s style and celebrated in the best way—recognizing the incredible achievements of our students and staff, while also honoring our military-connected students.
The energy was high and the pride in our school community was undeniable. It was truly all that and a bag of chips! What a groovy way to close out the year!

Earth Day in action! Ms. King’s 8th grade class got their hands dirty this morning in the best way to celebrate. They kicked things off by cleaning up litter around campus, then rolled up their sleeves to start building the foundation for our garden beds.
From layering cardboard and adding rocks for drainage to mixing in fresh soil and compost, these students put in the work to bring our garden to life. Big things are growing here!
