Celebrating Cainhoy Elementary students and staff put the cherry on top of our day! Cainhoy accomplished 5.3 percent growth on SC Ready ELA and 22.9 percent growth on SC Ready Science. The Tigers SC Ready Science results show the highest percentage of growth of any BCSD elementary school in science and the most growth on SC Ready of any BCSD school.

Today we celebrated SRO Corporal Cephus Rogers. His dedication to the children and safety of CHE has been unwavering. He's moving onto bigger things but we couldn't let him leave without a parade, confetti, cake, pom poms, special visitors and lots of hugs and appreciation. Our students are making gains in math! For the 2025-2026 school year, our SC Ready Math scores increased by 7.2 percent. According to the South Carolina Department of Education, this makes us the school district with the third-highest growth in SC Ready Math scores in the state!

Cainhoy Elementary's young Tigers are getting back into the swing of things! Last week was the first full week back at school, and students and staff received a special visit from Superintendent Dr. Anthony Dixon early Thursday morning.
