August 5th, 2025 Seniors: 9:00-11:00 am Juniors: 1:00-3:00 pm. Seniors will only be able to come during their designated time slot. This will be the same for juniors. There will be a hard stop at the end of each time slot.
Senior dues are $50.00. Pay with exact cash or check payable to Cane Bay High School at this event. There is no online option for paying senior dues at this time. Parking passes are $50.00. Online registration must be completed before arriving to pay exact cash only for a parking pass at this event. Students will be able to pick up their Chromebooks and schedules on this date as long as returning student registration has been completed. Returning student registration should be completed online at the BCSD schools website or through the Powerschool Parent Portal. If you need help completing registration or creating a parent portal account, someone will be at this event to assist you. This event is not mandatory. Students will have opportunities during the school year to pay senior dues, pay and receive a parking pass, and pick up their chromebooks/schedules. Parking passes will be numbered and will be handed out on a first-come first-served basis. There will be no holding parking spots without registration and payment. All attendees will be presented with important information about Cane Bay High and starting the school year off right. Attendees will have the opportunity to pick up and walk through their schedule to ensure they feel comfortable on the first day of school. Students will be able to learn about CBH Clubs and Organizations while interacting with their peers and getting involved in the school culture. This event is for students only.
Parents/guardians may drop their students off at the front of the school. Transportation will be provided for those riding a bus. Download the BCSD App for more information. Returning student registration should be completed online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal account.

Cane Bay High parents (and students) are invited to come out to the Cane Bay Starbucks (Hwy 176 & Cane Bay Blvd in Summerville) on Wednesday, July 30 to meet Cane Bay High's new principal, Chris Buchholz, and share any thoughts they have with him one-on-one about the upcoming school year. Principal Buchholz will be at Starbucks from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.; feel to stop by at any time during then.

Cane Bay High's AFJROTC unit ended this year on a high note by being recognized at this week's board meeting for receiving the "Sword of Excellence" by the South Carolina Air Force Association. This award annually goes to the best AFJROTC unit in the state.

Congratulations to Caroline Howard, recipient of the 2025 Cane Bay Del Webb Woodcrafters’ Club $2,000 Scholarship. Mr. Sid Sasiene and Mr. Paul Anselmo visited our Cane Bay High campus to present the award on behalf of the Woodcrafters' Club.

Senior Awards Night Information
Senior Awards Night will take place on May 8th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the auditorium.
Invitations will be distributed next week directly to seniors who are being recognized for an award, military honor, or scholarship based on the information we have received to date from organizations and seniors themselves.
We look forward to celebrating your accomplishments!

Spring has sprung! We hope all our students have a safe and fun spring break! Students will return to school April 21.


Students who participated in the March School Day ACT/SAT and have not collected their individual score reports are advised to pick them up after spring break. Score reports will be available in Administrative Services; please see Dr. McAndrew to retrieve yours. Enjoy your break!

Please be advised that qualifying students for National Honor Society have been notified via Schoology. Sophomores and juniors who meet the academic prerequisites have been added to a class called "Spring 2025 NHS Applicants." Students interested in NHS induction should review all the material posted in Schoology. Interest meetings will be held after school in room 105 on 3/19, 3/21, and 3/24. Student applications are due by the end of the school day on 4/4. Please note that incomplete applications will not be accepted. If there are any questions, students should contact Mr. Reyes in room 105.

The BCSD Student, Teacher, and Parent Climate Surveys window opened on Monday March 3rd and will close Friday March 21st. All students in grades 3-12 and all teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, ROTC instructors, career specialists, and speech therapists are expected to participate in the survey.
