Originally from the Dominican Republic, Dr. Maldonado earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Central University of the East and served for ten years as a physician and instructor with the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Public Health. 26-27 CBH New Student Orientation - Monday August 10th, 2026
9:00-12:00 pm - Check in starts at 8:30 am in the Commons. Students will be able to meet other CBH 9th graders and new to CBH students, as well as teachers that will be there to help them navigate their first year of high school or their first year at CBH. All attendees will be presented with important information about Cane Bay High and starting the school year off right. Attendees will have the opportunity to pick up and walk through their schedule to ensure they feel comfortable on the first day of school. Students will be able to learn about CBH Clubs and Organizations while interacting with their peers and getting involved in the school culture.

This event is for students only.
Parents/guardians may drop their students off at the front of the school. Transportation will be provided for those riding a bus. Download the BCSD App for more information.
