Feb. 3-7 is National School Counseling Week, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our school counselors for the role they play in student achievement and success.

Due to concerns about icy conditions and the ongoing impact of inclement weather, Berkeley County School District students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Friday, January 24. The Cobra Basketball Teams opened the regular season taking 3 of 4 games against Timberland on Tuesday night. JV Girls won 24-13, JV Boys won 65-6, Varsity Girls fell 29-52 and the Varsity Boys won 80-28. The Cobras will be back in action tonight(12/4/24) when they host Andrews. JV starts at 4:30pm and Varsity starts at 7:00pm.


Class of 2025 - Seniors and Parents Reminder
It’s time to order caps and gowns! Ordering begins tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 7th, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM in the Media Center. Seniors will be called down alphabetically to place their orders in person.
Parents who wish to place an order in person should first check in at the front office before proceeding to the Media Center. Please have your ID ready at check-in.

Berkeley County School District will utilize the Teacher Workday/Inclement Weather Day on October 11 as a weather make-up, e-Learning Day for students, as designated in the BCSD Instructional Calendar. This adjustment is necessary due to the postponement of the first day of school from August 14 to August 15, following impacts of Tropical Storm Debby.

Due to forecasted impacts of Hurricane Helene, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Friday, September 27. All after-school activities and after-school care programs will close at 6 p.m. this evening.
All schools and offices will be closed Friday, and before and after-school care programs are canceled. As the storm system is projected to move out of the area that afternoon, after school activities may resume after 4 p.m. on Friday.
