hand with rings

Philip Simmons High recognized its boys and girls cross country teams during a ring ceremony on May 12, honoring their 2024 and 2025 state championship wins.

In November, the two teams brought home first place wins during the state championships in Aiken. For the boys, it was their second state win in a row. For the girls, this was an unheard-of fourth state championship in a row.

The teams are led by Josh Michael, Ryan McCauley and Emma Santor.
