At Monday evening’s regular meeting, the Board of Education approved several administrative appointments. All appointments and leadership updates included below will take effect July 1, 2026.
District Leadership
Ms. Jennifer Croley will continue her service to BCSD as Chief Academics and Innovation Officer.
Contract to begin April 21, 2026.
Ms. Quenetta White will join BCSD as Director of Educator Effectiveness.
Ms. Keri Ballentine will continue her service to BCSD as Title I Coordinator in the Division of Academics and Innovation.
School Leadership
Ms. Lyndi Valicek will continue her service to BCSD as principal of Berkeley Middle School.
Ms. Christal Stevens will continue her service to BCSD as principal of Cross Elementary School.
Ms. Courtenaye Johnson will continue her service to BCSD as principal of Westview Middle School.
Dr. Martin Wright will join BCSD as principal of Carolyn Lewis School.
Dr. Amber Sainz will join BCSD as principal of Whitesville Elementary School.

Dr. Leslie Howder will continue her service to BCSD as principal of Hanahan Middle School.

Mr. Michael Huff will continue his service to BCSD as principal of Sangaree Elementary School.
