Nature is sometimes life's greatest teacher.

Yesterday, hundreds of Berkeley County School District elementary students spent a morning exploring the natural world at NatureScope in Old Santee Canal Park.

Students from Berkeley Elementary, Boulder Bluff Elementary, Cainhoy Elementary, Carolyn Lewis School, Devon Forest Elementary, Foxbank Elementary, Howe Hall AIMS and Whitesville Elementary got to enjoy educational wildlife shows by The Center for Birds of Prey at NatureScope.

Additionally, students learned more about environmental science, conservation efforts and local environmentally friendly companies with interactive exhibits by:
