Throughout November, BCSD hosted multiple Unified Games events for students with special needs across the district.
On November 10, Goose Creek High hosted athletes and general education students from Hanahan Middle, Philip Simmons Middle, Sedgefield Middle, Westview Middle, Goose Creek High, Hanahan High, Philip Simmons High and Stratford High for the Unified Games - South.
On November 12, Berkeley High hosted athletes and general education students from Berkeley Middle, Cane Bay Middle, St. Stephen Middle, Berkeley High, Cane Bay High, Timberland High and Sangaree Middle for the Unified Games - North.
At the event, student athletes rotated around stations that focused on different motor skills and activities like dancing, bocce, volleyball, flag football and more.
