The arts allows students to be creative and express themselves individually, but they can also enhance traditional academic instruction. With multiple arts magnet schools and traditionally zoned schools that have won Arts in Basic Curriculum grants, Berkeley County School District teachers are encouraged to incorporate fine arts into their lessons to take student learning to the next level.
