We have some fantastic news. The South Carolina Department of Education has awarded Westview Middle School as a Palmetto Silver Award School! As an important part of the education accountability system in South Carolina, the Awards program is designed to recognize and reward schools for attaining high levels of absolute performance, for attaining high rates of growth, and for making substantial progress in closing the achievement gap between disaggregated groups. We couldn't have achieved this honor without the hard work and dedication of our teachers and staff paired with a fantastic community. Go Warriors!

This achievement is a testament to the countless hours of practice, discipline, and teamwork these students have poured into their music this year. A massive thank you to our teachers, parents, and the Westview community for your unwavering support.
Way to go, Warriors! We couldn’t be prouder.

Chorus 1 earned a rating of “Excellent” and Chamber Choir earned a rating of “Superior with Distinction.” Please give our Warriors and Choral Director, Mrs. Malcher, a huge round of applause!

It’s been a fun journey watching them transform from tiny caterpillars to beautiful Painted Ladies. Our students learned firsthand about the magic of metamorphosis, and Friday was the perfect afternoon for a release.

The Dance Team is an extracurricular program that practices after school and focuses on pom and hip-hop styles, including competitive and game-day performances.
A mandatory interest meeting will be held on March 26 from 4:15–5:15 PM. Tryouts will take place on March 31 and April 1–2, and dancers are required to attend all tryout dates. Both the interest meeting and tryouts will be held in the dance room near the bus loop (Room 602).

The hard work is done, the pages are set, and the Yearbook Club is officially celebrating! We’ve poured our hearts into capturing this year’s memories, and we can’t wait for you to see the final product. We are down to our final 79 copies. Once these are gone, we cannot order more!

Our RoboWarriors are hard at work preparing for the VEX V5 State Championship in Lexington this weekend!
