Good afternoon rising 8th grade Westview Middle families!
I hope you've had a restful and joyous summer so far. We are thrilled to announce the restart of Westview Middle's Unified PE program. Unified PE is an inclusive physical education course that partners students with and without disabilities to participate in sports and fitness activities together. This specialized elective is designed to develop leadership, foster genuine friendships, and contribute to a school culture where every student belongs. Returning student registration for next school year remains open through Parent Portal. After completing registration, families will also be able to select special area classes for next year. One final walk through the halls, one giant leap toward the future. The graduation class of 2026 from Goose Creek High School and Stratford High School came back one last time to visit their old stomping grounds and encourage our current Warriors to continue their path towards excellence. Two huge accomplishments for Mrs. Calvin and the WVM robotics team. They were recognized at last night’s Goose Creek City Council meeting by Mayor Habib! The program was awarded the #creekrising award for its success this school year and plans for growth in the community. Mrs. Calvin was also recognized by the VWF for the district 1 Citizenship Award which recognizes teacher excellence!
