Mr. Ward's band program threw our annual winter dance last week. Students and staff are still glowing from our photo booth, amazing light show, and fantastic playlist from Ryan and his Live Productions team.

Friday, we honored these incredible students with our "On a Roll" awards for their hard work and positive attitudes.
Special thanks to our staff for nominating these students and making these moments so memorable. Join us in the comments by giving these students a round of applause and Dr. Bradley a sweet treat!

Our students in Mrs. Giddens’ and Mr. Eklund’s classes had a blast Friday learning the art of making homemade empanadas! From prepping the savory fillings to mastering the perfect crimp on the crust, the classrooms were smelling absolutely amazing.
It’s not just about the food—it’s about teamwork, culture, and some seriously impressive culinary skills. Check out these photos of our student chefs in action!
Thank you to Mrs. Medina for coming in and sharing your food and culture with our Warriors!

Our 6th grade students turned into mini-geologists today to learn all about the Rock Cycle! Using nothing but old crayons and a little heat, we simulated millions of years of Earth's history in just one class period.
Sedimentary: We pulverized crayons into colorful "sediment" layers.
Metamorphic: We applied pressure and a little heat to warp and fuse them.
Igneous: We went full volcanic and melted them down completely to cool into brand-new "rocks!"

Using a dice simulation, students "traveled" through different stations representing the stages of the rock cycle. Whether they were melting into magma, weathering into sediment, or hardening into igneous rock, every roll of the dice determined their next geological adventure!
