Timberland High School is proud to announce Jeffrey Addison as the school's new head varsity girls basketball coach. A dedicated and accomplished coach with more than 26 years of high school varsity experience, Addison returns to Timberland with a legacy of success and a deep connection to the community.
Addison's basketball journey comes full circle after beginning his own high school career at nearby St. Stephen High School, one of the legacy schools that later consolidated to form Timberland High. Known as a defensive specialist with a strong emphasis on fundamental skill development, Addison has built a reputation for helping to develop disciplined, competitive, and successful programs.
During his previous tenure at Timberland, Addison helped lead teams to eight Regional Championships, two Lower State Championships, and two State Championships in 2005 and 2011.
"Coach Addison brings an incredible level of experience, leadership, and passion for student-athletes to this role," said Timberland High Principal Timothy Evans. "His history of success at Timberland speaks for itself, but more importantly, he understands the importance of building up young student athletes both on and off the court. We are excited to welcome him back home to lead our girls basketball program."
Addison is known for his commitment to strong foundational fundamentals, defensive discipline, and high-IQ, fast-paced basketball. Beyond wins and championships, he is deeply committed to the growth of student athletes, emphasizing academic excellence, mental toughness, character development, and the life skills necessary for long-term success.

I look forward to building relationships with our students, families, and community as we work together to continue the proud tradition of Timberland basketball."
Throughout his career, Addison has helped develop numerous college-bound student-athletes while fostering a team culture centered on accountability, discipline, and excellence.
