Head Coach
Coach Jaime Koch is a graduate of the College of Charleston, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. Jaime began her teaching career in 2005 at Laing Middle School in Mount Pleasant, SC, running the school’s athletic department and serving as the head of Physical Education. She was named Charleston County Rookie Teacher of the Year in 2005 and Laing Middle School TOY in 2006. She was also named Volunteer of the Year for the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department in 2009 and received the Hanahan Recreation Department Coaches Appreciation Award in 2022. Jaime brings a wealth of experience, having coached volleyball since 2006. She also founded CrossCourt Athletics, a faith-based intramural sports program for adults, catering to adult athletes in the Lowcountry for 10 years. Jaime and her husband, Wes, have been married for 20 years and are raising two teenage daughters who are also Hanahan athletes.
