Coach Courtney Wagner enters her fifth season as Head JV Softball Coach at Hanahan High School. Courtney grew up in Myrtle Beach, SC, where she was a 3-sport athlete and received All-Conference and All-State Honors in softball and tennis during her time as a Seahawk. Courtney was recently inducted into the Myrtle Beach High School Athletic Hall of Fame with 16 Varsity letters, the most of any female athlete at MBHS. Courtney is a graduate of Wingate University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Communications-Public Relations and a master’s degree in Sports Administration. She continued her softball career at Wingate from 2004-2008, winning a Conference Championship in 2006 with academic and athletic accolades within the conference and district. Courtney is currently employed as a school-based Mental Health professional at Berkeley County Mental Health after receiving a master’s in education in School Counseling from Liberty University in May 2023.
