Coach David Altfield is heading into his third season as the Girls JV Soccer Head Coach at Hanahan High School.
Born in Orlando, Florida, Coach David moved to Georgia at age nine. He began coaching while in high school and picked it up again in 2013 while coaching his daughter.
He is married, and he and his wife have three daughters, each seven years apart.
Growing up, Coach David played both soccer and baseball, and dreamed of one day making it to the NBA.
Outside of soccer, Coach David and his wife opened Risen Loaf Bakery in 2024, right here in Hanahan. He also recently started driving a school bus for Hanahan schools and loves being a part of our community.
