Hanahan Cheer Heads to the Cobra Cheer Classic!
Get ready, Hawk fans! Our Hanahan Varsity Cheer Team is back in action this week at the Cobra Cheer Classic. The competition will take place on Wednesday, November 5th, at Cane Bay High School, and our Hawks are set to take the floor at 7:35 PM.
This event brings together some of the area’s top programs for an exciting evening of competition and school spirit. Our team has been working hard all season and is ready to deliver another incredible performance. Let’s fill the stands with royal blue and orange and show everyone what Hawk pride looks like!

📣 Cheer Tryouts Are Almost Here! 📣
Tryouts for Hanahan Cheer kick off next Monday, May 12th in the Hanahan High School Gym at 4:15 PM!
✅ Wear shorts or leggings, a t-shirt or tank, and sneakers
✅ Hair must be up and ALL jewelry removed
✅ Bring a bottle of water
We cannot wait to see everyone there!
Stop by Coach Samonte’s office or email her at samontea@bcsdschools.net to pick up your cheer packet and get all the details you need before tryouts.
Reminder: All athletes must have a PlanetHS account set up and a current athletic physical dated after April 1, 2025, on file to participate.

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank the student-athletes who participated in the Hanahan Reads event at Bowen’s Corner Elementary School today. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for our athletes to connect with younger students through reading, and we are incredibly proud of their commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
