Our fifth grade leadership group has started a new tradition at Bonner Elementary. Students from different classes and clubs each week get to nominate and select a Tireless Teammate! Every Tuesday, the leadership group delivers the "tire" with a special message from the students that selected them to receive the award. Tuesdays have taken on a whole new meaning for staff and students ❤️.

Our second graders celebrated their iReady 1st-place win with a dance party last Friday. Check out the smiles on those faces! Second graders said they are ready for the next iReady challenge. Grade levels will now compete for the highest average in math lessons through March.
Bonner is so excited to continue our work with Engaging Creative Minds! We will have three ECM experiences this year in 1st, 3rd and 4th Grade!

Congratulations to Ms. Kourtney. She was selected as our February Staffulty of the Month! Ms. Kourtney is so good to us! She takes care of our hallway, and facilities. She always greets whomever with a smile! More than that she is so sweet to our students, and is always “on -call” when we need her in one of our classrooms. She is a worker bee, and we are grateful for her. She takes great pride in her work and keeps our school beautiful!

Our Red and Gold Dance Companies participated in BCSD Dance Day! Our students attended multiple master classes with our dance teachers from around the district. They also worked with guest artist Aubrey Houle! #bcsddanceday

Scout spent a morning with two of our fifth-grade classes. Fifth graders were able to ask important research questions about the job and expectations of a therapy dog, and Mrs. Keely shared the difference between the role of a therapy dog and a service dog. Our fifth graders are looking forward to writing about the things they learned. We are so thankful for Mrs. Keely and Scout.
Santee Circle Community Church surprised our faculty and staff with a yummy popcorn bar! Our staff enjoyed the special treat. We are so blessed with the best community partners.
