As a way of continuing to promote child nutrition and adding to the many celebrations capping the end of the school year, Berkeley County School District’s Office of Child Nutrition Services will launch a special giveaway next week (May 20–24) that will offer some big prizes.
Elementary, middle and high school students eating lunch and/or breakfast next week will be entered into a drawing for prizes that include, but are not limited to:
*iPads
*Wireless earbuds/headphones
*Underwater cameras
*Projectors
*Action cameras
*Bluetooth speakers
Students will receive one entry into the drawing for each meal they eat. Winners will be drawn at random, and those who eat multiple meals will obviously have an increased chance of winning.

A continental breakfast will be served beginning at 7:15 a.m. Computers will be onsite if you need help getting your child registered for the upcoming school year.
Following the info session and tour, our after school clubs will be performing in our Spring Showcase. All families are invited to stay and enjoy the performance from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Mrs. Weston is Bonner's TIRELESS TEAMMATE this week! Mrs. Miller's students chose Mrs. Weston because she is so kind, helps out wherever she is needed, and they love her welcoming smile. This week's TIRELESS TEAMMATE is Mrs. Miller. She was chosen by Mrs. Mixson's fifth grade class. Students shared that they absolutely love seeing Mrs. Miller's smile each morning! Her morning greeting is always so kind and welcoming. Her students love the time they spend with her, and they know she works so hard to come up with the best lessons and strategies to help them do their best. Congratulations to Mrs. Mixson! She was chosen by her homeroom students as our next Tireless Teammate. Mrs. Mixson joined us in the middle of the year to lead her fifth graders to a successful final semester at HBE. Her fifth graders shared that they love that she is always calm but firm, and she is extremely patient and kind. She gives help when needed and extra time to fully understand what her students are learning. Her excitement each day helps her students get excited about learning.
