Yesterday was a long day for the teachers at GCE... thankfully the GCE PTO came to the rescue and provided a delicious pizza dinner!
Our Back to School Bash was a blast! The rain may have made us move our event inside, but it didn't stop the excitement! GCE was full of excited students and teachers!
Together We Grow! It's not just our motto for this school year, it's a promise! Teachers returned to school yesterday and they immediately began preparing to plant the seeds of knowledge in all of our students!

Last night, Assistant Principal Alessandro welcomed our new 4K parents to Goose Creek Elementary! She shared helpful hints with the parents so that our littlest Otters are set up for success! Thank you Mrs. Alessandro for making the transition to school a little easier!

* not be able to ride the school bus
We currently have over 200 students who have not completed this process. Please help us be prepared for the 1st day of school; this information is desperately needed. If you need any assistance, don't hesitate to call or visit the school!

Congratulations to the GCE staff who received their 10... 20... and 25 years of service pins! Congratulations also to our teammates who are about to embark into the wonderful world of RETIREMENT!
GCE's Student Lighthouse Team has done it again! Throughout the year these amazing young citizens have collected items to support those in need in our community, raised money and supplies for the animal shelter, and collected can tabs to donate to a local children's charity. We are so proud of our Otters!
WOW! We have a three-way tie for the fastest finisher in Returning Student Registrations! 🏁 4K, 5K, and 1st grade all zoomed across the finish line together with a 56% completion rate! These speedy grade levels will celebrate with popsicles today—what a sweet victory!
But don’t worry, the race isn’t over yet! There’s still time to complete your returning student registration. Need a pit stop? Call or stop by the school office—we’re here to help you cross that finish line!
