We have always thought our GCE students are out of this world!!!! If you were lucky enough to look up this morning, you would have seen that Space X launched a cargo ship and it was visible over Goose Creek Elementary School. Ms. Henley was able to capture this unique photo.
According to WCIV TV what we are seeing in this beautiful pictures is The "Space Jellyfish" Effect: Because the launch happened in the pre-dawn darkness while the sun was already high enough to illuminate the rocket's high-altitude exhaust plume (80 to 100 miles up), the expanding gas cloud glowed brightly against the dark morning sky. What an amazing thing to see!!!! 🚀🧑🚀🛰️🚀👨🚀🌒🛰️
