
Students in Ms. Sullivan’s and Ms. Reed’s classes finished a unit on the novel “When Stars are Scattered.” This was a graphic novel memoir written by a man who spent the majority of his childhood in an African refugee camp. Today, Ms. Priscilla came to speak with the students about her personal experiences growing up in the African Country Ghana.

REMINDER: May 30th is a half day for all students. It is also the final day of school for all students. May 31 is a teacher workday and the final day of the school year for teachers.

Mrs. Jacko and Mrs. Stament’s class learned how to make oven s’mores, wrote a how to story to tell how to do it and then put it into action to celebrate their finished writing! 🤤
