A huge thank-you to Hullette Farm for bringing their friendly animals to visit our 4K classes at DFE! Our students loved getting up close to goats, piglets, tortoises, and more — feeding, petting, and smiling the whole time. We ended the 2024-2025 school year with a mighty roar! Not only did DFE show more than five percent growth in their SC Ready ELA and SC Ready Math scores, we also brought up our State Report Card rating to Average. To celebrate, Principal Mitchum surprised our staff with the news and cookies from Twisted Sugar.
