On Thursday, our amazing students and faculty packed and handed out 65 grocery bags and approximately 100 snack bags! Everyone served with joy and big smiles. Thank you to all who gave your time and heart to bless families this holiday season.

Attached, you will find the Berkeley County School District (BCSD) Family Engagement Policy for your review. To ensure accessibility for all families, the policy is provided in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The Family Engagement Policy outlines how BCSD and Cross High School work in partnership with families to support student success and maintain open communication between home and school.
If you have any questions or would like a printed copy, please do not hesitate to contact the school. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Sincerely,

UPDATED to include pictures.
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, our JROTC department hosted several veterans for their Adopt‑a‑Vet event. As LTC Lipari noted, the project was intended to teach cadets about service and to honor our veterans — but it became so much more. Cadets practiced professional communication, conducted interviews, overcame challenges, collaborated on slide presentations, found the courage to speak in front of strangers, and engaged in meaningful in‑person conversations. Very proud of our cadets.
