On April 23, roughly 800 BCSD elementary students spent the morning exploring the natural world at NatureScope in Old Santee Canal Park. Put on by Kids Who Care, a local non-profit focused on environmental science education, the winners of the non-profit's environmental science project competition were also announced at the event. This year there was a three-way for first place between Bowen's Corner Elementary, Hanahan Elementary and Devon Forest Elementary. Congratulations to all three schools!
