BCSD & IAAM PARTNERSHIP
Berkeley County School District is excited to partner with the International African American Museum (IAAM) to offer enriching educational experiences for our students. Through this partnership, all 4th, 8th, and 11th-grade students have the chance to participate in an onsite museum tour, immersing them in African American history and culture. Additionally, students in 3rd, 7th, and 10th grades will have the opportunity to participate in inquiry-based projects at their respective school sites.
To book a field trip, please complete the IAAM PreK-12 Student Field Trip Request form on the museum's website. Please note that submitting the form does not guarantee a spot. Once submitted, an individual from the IAAM Museum will reach out to coordinate your visit.
Stay tuned for information regarding booking opportunities for inquiry-based projects. IAAM is currently finalizing the booking process for inquiry-based projects.
