Fun Run Times
4th and 5th Grade- 8:00-9:00am
Rhodes AM, Taylor, Babbitt, Dowdell- 9:15-9:45
2nd and 3rd Grade- 10:00-11:00am
Kindergarten and 1st Grade- 11:30-12:30pm
Rhodes PM- 12:30-1:00pm
During each run, a P.E. teacher will get silly stringed by the TOP Fundraiser in each grade, plus maybe a few others , if they are close or a tie... So Keep On Going!!!!

As you all know, Booster Fun Run has been MOVED to Tuesday, February 18th. The running times are the same....so no other changes than the date.
And.....YAY!!!! We have reached our next goal level of $40,000… Admin will get pied in the face on March 20th at Math Night. We are $10,000 away from Mr. J getting his head shaved.
Also, our Top Grade from last night’s challenge was… 4TH GRADE….they will receive a popsicle party in the next few days. (determined by the grade level)
Tonight’s Challenge is for the Top Grade to earn a Dance Party in their room!!!! This will be new total donations, as well.
We are only a few states away from getting all 50 states. We need Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Nebraska, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Washington D.C.. If we get ALL 50 states, then the school will get to vote on who to Toilet Paper/Mummify to the flag pole during afterschool dismissal!!!! Yes, this is a new challenge!!!
Lastly, Just a heads up, because of the potential of moving the Boosterthon inside (which we didn't), we switched the lunch menu. Orange Chicken is tomorrow and hamburgers and hot dogs is Thursday.

Parents- Our Fun Run Date is Thursday, February 13th. ALL Are Welcomed (Parents, Siblings, Family Members, Friends, etc.) To Attend!!!
Please Bring Your ID and Check-In At The Front Office. The race will be at the back of the school (Check The Map Attached), but please remember that you must come through the front, even if you have to park near Del Webb, Scholar Way, Harris Teeter or ride a golf cart from your house and park on campus... you cannot park and walk on campus without being verified by our office staff through the front of the building. There will be a very long line so please be patient...make sure that you show up early so you do not miss your student. Remember this is all for fun and joy!!!!

The event starts at 10:30am and ends at 12:00pm.

Congratulations to Ryan Taylor for being the 2025 BCSD Spelling Bee Champion.
Ryan is a past student of Nexton. He attended Nexton Elementary for all of his elementary years. Ryan is currently a seventh grader at Sangaree Middle School. He will be moving on a competing in the Spelling Bee State Championship.
We are so happy and proud of our past Explorer!!!!
