Happy Friday! The MMSOA Parent Newsletter for 9/19/25 is now available! Visit https://secure.smore.com/n/3re8p to view.

Who loves long division?! We do at MMSOA! A small group of students that enjoys the process of working through division has been meeting this week in the mornings. We are thankful for teachers who learn students' interests and take action.

Students rotated through engaging stations—exploring books and watching book trailers. The goal...to spark curiosity and build excitement for this year’s nominees! To kick things off, one lucky winner per class was chosen at random to receive a nominee of their choice! 📚
Students who read at least 3 nominees and log their reading with responses in Beanstack will be invited to a special literacy celebration in February where they’ll get to vote for their favorite book. 🗳️
All votes from across the state will be combined to crown the official South Carolina Junior Book Award winner! 🎉
Way to go, Monarchs—let’s read, celebrate, and make our voices count!

Note for Boulder Bluff Students: Your attendance is not required unless you wish to change your current instrument.
