Hanahan High School is excited to announce that our Robotics Team has been awarded a $4,500 STEAM grant from Santee Cooper! This funding will support hands-on learning as our students explore science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through robotics. Thank you, Santee Cooper, for supporting our students!

This past week Hanahan High School celebrated Kindness Week. Activities all week were sponsored by Student Council and HOSA -Future Health Professionals student organizations. Students were able to share kindness clips with peers and teachers, wore purple on Wednesday in honor of suicide prevention month, and earned caught you being kind tickets from teachers and staff for a treat. Our staff was treated to dirty sodas and popcorn as a thank you for their kindness on Friday. Continue being kind, Hawks!
Makeup Picture Day is Monday, September 21st from 8-9:30 AM for all grades! Seniors can come down starting at 8 AM, and all other grades will be called down during the school day!
In Honor of country music star and literacy advocate Dolly Parton, Friday, August 28 is Dolly Day at HHS! Come dressed in your school-appropriate country music best: boots, denim, rhinestones, sequins, country-inspired outfits, or anything else that brings a little Dolly-style fun to the day.
We’re celebrating Dolly Parton’s incredible legacy, including her lifelong support of literacy, imagination, and education. So let’s have some fun, celebrate an American icon, and show our support for the power of reading!

Seniors! Senior Picture day is coming up. Picture day will take place in the Auditorium from 8 AM to 2 PM on Thursday, August 27th. This is a drop-in style event with no appointment needed. All props will be provided! For more information contact Dr. Gerth!
