Hanahan High is excited to introduce Dr. Taylor Bradley as the school’s new principal.

Families are invited to come to Brew in Tanner Plantation on Thursday, July 30 to meet Dr. Bradley – more information is below.

Dr. Bradley studied middle grades education at the College of Charleston and received his Master of Education degree in school administration through Charleston Southern University. He attained his doctorate in curriculum and instruction through the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Bradley has spent all 17 years of his education career in Berkeley County School District. He continued teaching at Berkeley Middle for six years, teaching combinations of English and social studies. He then moved to Cane Bay Middle and taught seventh grade social studies for two years before becoming an administrator at Cane Bay High in 2017. Dr. Bradley joined the Berkeley High staff in 2021 as an assistant principal, and then became principal of Westview Middle in 2023.

As a Hanahan resident himself, Dr. Bradley is excited to partner with school families and community members to build upon the strong foundation that already exists at Hanahan High.

“I believe successful schools are built on great relationships, strong instruction, and a shared commitment to helping every student reach their full potential,” he said. “My focus will always be on providing opportunities for our students, supporting our teachers, and creating systems that allow everyone in our school community to succeed.”

Dr. Bradley will meet families at Brew for a Coffee and Conversations event; BCSD’s Coffee and Conversations series allow parents to have one-on-one conversations with principals while enjoying a cup of joe at a local coffee shop.  Dr. Bradley will be hanging out at Brew from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.; feel to stop by at any time during then.

Please note: Conversations will be timed and limited to 3-5 minutes, if needed, to accommodate the number of requests.
