We are changing December up a bit this year and having three major holiday dress up days. Friday 12/8: Grinch Day. Dress up as your favorite Grinch character
Friday 12/15: Holiday Character. Dress up as your favorite holiday character
Thurs 12/21: PJ Day. Wear your favorite holiday PJs

The Holiday Shop is almost here! Each class will have a time slot during the week of Dec 4th-8th for students to shop. We will be sending home the budgeting envelopes on Friday, December 1st. Please fill out these with your student so they have a list of who to buy for and send these back to school on December 4th so your student will be prepared to shop. Congratulations to Ja'Liyah Frasier on getting second place in her age group at the Coastal Carolina Fair's Youth Art Show!
Help us Celebrate our Veterans. Your child will be coming home with a Veteran sheet. If you have someone in your family that is or has served in the armed forces, please complete the sheet and return it to your child's teacher. We will be hanging these in our hallway at school. Please make sure you put your child's name and teacher on the back of the sheet. We will try to return them when we are done displaying them.

Don't forget about the Boykin PTO Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction. All funds raised tonight go toward funding classroom/celebration grants. What are classroom/celebration grants? That's a great question! These grants are applied for by teachers to the PTO and can be used for field trips, classroom-enhancing experiences, supplies needed for the classroom, one time celebration etc. These are all things teachers shouldn't need to pay for themselves!

It is that time of year again for our FBE Ornament Design Contest. Please see the attachment for specific directions.
FBE Halloween 2023 was a blast. The students and staff were dressed in some great costumes. Enjoy the pictures.
FBE Picture make up day is Thursday, 11/2. If you want your child to redo their fall photo or they were absent that day please let their teacher know either by email or note. If your child started at FBE after September 6th, they will also need to have their picture taken. Thank you
3rd-5th Graders can sign up to audition for our FBE Chorus.
