Principal

Dr. Kimberly Murray is a native of Charleston, SC and a product of Berkeley County School District. She attended College Park Elementary, College Park Middle and graduated from Stratford High School. She attended the College of Charleston where she received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Education with a dual certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. After graduation Dr. Murray began her career  with Berkeley County as a first grade teacher at Devon Forest. While teaching full time, she obtained a Master’s of Education Degree in December of 2007 in School Counseling. In 2008, she continued to serve as an elementary school counselor for several years at Cane Bay Elementary.

Dr. Murray earned  a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Leadership Education Administration. In November of 2016, Dr. Murray began working in school leadership as an administrator at College Park Elementary and Hanahan Elementary. Most recently she was the principal of Bowen's Corner Elementary. Now at CPE, it's her hope that every person who walks through the doors of College Park Elementary feels the warmth and excitement of learning and knowing that they matter.

Mr. Nathan Snider

Assistant Principal

Hello, my name is Nathan Snider and I am honored to enter my first year as an assistant principal at College Park Elementary! I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Marshall University in Elementary Education and my Master of Education in Elementary Leadership from Charleston Southern University. For the past four years, I served as an assistant principal at Whitesville Elementary School. Prior to that, I was an instructional coach at Goose Creek Elementary. I spent 13 years in elementary classrooms as a second, third and fifth grade teacher at Midland Park Elementary and Pinehurst Elementary in North Charleston.

I have lived in the Charleston area for 20 years after moving here from West Virginia. My wife, Ashley, is also an educator in BCSD. We have two sons, Andrew and Miles, who attend BCSD schools in Hanahan. When I’m not at CPE, I am most likely at the ballfield with my wife watching the boys play baseball, basketball and football.

My mission at College Park is to support the administrative team and staff as we align with BCSD to create a future we dare to imagine and make a positive difference!

Mrs. Stephanie Baird

Administrative Assistant

I am entering my 20th year in education! I have a M. Ed in both Special Education and Education Administration. I have spent the last four school years as an Instructional Coach for both reading and math at Sangaree Elementary. Prior to joining BCSD four years ago, I served as a Special Services Transition Coordinator for Cyber Academy of South Carolina.  I taught middle and elementary school in DD2. I taught 6th grade self-contained special education at Dubose Middle School where I was named 2018 Teacher of the Year. I also taught Self Contained Kindergarten for five years and K-5th grade resource at Pye Elementary.  I started my teaching career at Rollings Middle School of the Arts teaching Theatre Arts and pursuing my initial certification through the PACE program.  

 I am so excited to get to know all of you and join the CPE family!
