Philip Simmons High's graduating class of 2026 will gather at the North Charleston Coliseum next week. However, before some of these graduates walk across the stage, they decided to do a sweet walk down Memory Lane at Cainhoy Elementary.
Many of Berkeley County School District's elementary schools host "grad walks" for graduating seniors who previously attended the elementary schools. A little over a dozen Philip Simmons High graduates previously attended Cainhoy Elementary, so they did a walk through of the building on May 22.
Led by Principal Cindy Bise, who brought along a speaker blaring celebratory music, the graduating Iron Horses paraded through the halls as the elementary school teachers and students cheered them on; VIEW PHOTOS.
Congratulations, graduates!
