The Cane Bay Choirs were on the road yesterday to Georgia Southern University to compete in the Southern Sings Invitational. This competition brings together the best choirs from Florida, Georgia and South Carolina in a performance adjudication format. Cobra Chorale and Vox Bellator sang so well and represented our school, community and state at the highest level. The Cane bay Choirs also teamed up with one of the other choirs to perform a "flash" performance in the GSU Union!
In a very close competition Cane Bay Chorale placed third in the mixed choir division out of nine choirs and Vox Bellator placed second out of seven choirs. While there were multiple ensembles from several schools, CBH were the only school to have multiple choirs place in the competition!
Vox Bellator will be traveling to the University of South Carolina this weekend to perform with the USC Ladies Chorale, and we are gearing up for Madrigal Dinners and Vox Night in December and January.
