The Returning Student Update for Berkeley County School District will be available to parents and guardians of all returning students beginning April 15 at 10 a.m..
"Returning student" applies to:
Students who were actively enrolled in BCSD at the end of the 2025-2026 school year and plan to return to the same school within BCSD for the 2026-2027 school year.
Students moving from primary to elementary, elementary to middle, or middle to high within the same school zone.
Currently enrolled in Pre-K4 (CERDEP) in BCSD and remaining in the same school.
Students moving to a new school due to BCSD updated attendance lines.
This mandatory process allows families to:
Complete District, State, and Federally required annual forms and policies, including technology agreements and media release forms
Indicate the student’s transportation method, acknowledge the bus transportation agreement, and request bus service for the 2026-2027 school year if transportation is needed
Verify and update parent/emergency contact information
Upload the required two proofs of residency
The Returning Student Update can only be completed using the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent Portal Account, contact your student’s school for assistance.
