Goode Creek Police Department is hosting a Child Safety Seat Check Event on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During this time, several officers will be available to inspect, fit, and install car seats to ensure they’re being used correctly.

📍 Location: City of Goose Fire Department, 201 Button Hall Avenue, Goose Creek

In addition to the event, we also have car seats available for families experiencing financial hardship. And remember—help is available year-round. Families can contact us anytime to schedule an appointment for assistance.

Boulder Bluff Elementary Career Day Part 2

Firefighter Bryan Costello of Charleston County visited and gave a talk about fire safety, what to do in a fire, and what firefighters do!

Beginning Monday, Nov 10th BBE will host a Carolina Vs Clemson Food Drive! Show your support for your favorite football team while donating to Helping Hands of Goose Creek during the season of thankfulness and giving! Who will come out with the big WIN?? We will see. Have a great weekend Bulldogs!

Pumpkin Patch Part 2

Pumpkins, pizza, parents, and Pre K... Our Pre-k students had a wonderful time at our backyard pumpkin patch with their parents. After the patch, students and parents worked together on pumpkin math activities and then enjoyed a pizza picnic! A wonderful time was had by all!

On Friday, October 31, students will participate in a parade to celebrate being healthy and drug-free while dressed in COSTUMES! The event will start at 1:15 PM. Parents are welcome to watch from outside. The parade will start at the bus loop and proceed along the car rider line sidewalk, allowing parents of car riders and walkers to enjoy the view as well!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Berkeley County School District is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where all our students can learn, grow and thrive!

On Wednesday, Oct. 22, all BCSD schools and offices will observe Unity Day -- a day where we can send a visible message of building commUNITY and kindness in our school district by wearing orange. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to make a positive difference together and rock their orange on Unity Day!

Miss Santor’s and Mrs. Carter’s classes had a special visit today from the school’s Resource Officer, Officer Martinez, Investigator Danny, and her police dog, Gander.

Students have been learning about community helpers and how they help keep people safe. Officer Martinez read a story to the classes, and students asked thoughtful questions about her role as the School Resource Officer. Investigator Danny introduced Gander and explained what it’s like to work alongside a police dog. The visit concluded with a popsicle party—and even Gander joined in on the delicious fun!

It’s time to shower your kiddos with a special treat. That’s right, BOO GRAMS are back! This week, you received a flyer with information on our first Student Lighthouse fundraiser of the year. BOO GRAMS are $3 and will be delivered to your kiddos on Halloween Day!! Let’s give those hardworking students a BOO-TIFUL reason to smile! 😊

Make-Up Picture Day is Friday, October 17, 2025.

It was a happy High-Five Friday at Boulder Bluff Elementary thanks to the Goose Creek High School cheerleaders!! These ladies brought the smiles and some extra cheer to all our students this morning. What a wonderful way to close out another great week of learning!! Have a great weekend everyone!

In ELA today, we read Blind Ambition by Matthew Cooper. The story was a personal narrative written by Mathew Cooper, who is a blind guy.

During my planning, I spoke to Ms. Howard and her crew about what I could use to help my students understand blindness.

They shared a walking cane, braille books, different types of glasses for the visually impaired, and they typed all the students' names in braille.

My students really enjoyed understanding what it means to be blind; the other students were obstacles in the room.
