Before coming to Berkeley County Next Step Learning Center, Mr. Jonah Bryant worked at Berkeley High School has an assistant principal for seven years. Prior to that, he was an English teacher and the Star Academy Director at BHS. Graduating from the College of Charleston with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in secondary education, Mr. Bryant went on to eventually receive his M. Ed. in secondary school administration and supervision from Charleston Southern University.

Christin Clark has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a M. Ed. in secondary school in administration and supervision from Charleston Southern University, as well as a master's degree in teaching biology. Before becoming the alternative education program coordinator at BCNSLC, Christin was no stranger to the program. She spearheaded the Thrive Academy in 2024.
