Ms. Harvin brings just over 22 years of school counseling experience, having most recently served as the guidance director at Daniel Jenkins Academy and a school counselor at Wando High School in Charleston County School District.

The Stratford Wind Orchestra (SWO) will perform at the Music for All National Concert Band Festival in March. Stratford is the first band from Berkeley County to receive the honor, second in the lowcountry and the sixth school from South Carolina to be accepted into the event.
Six Berkeley County School District student-athletes representing three high schools signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday of this week, solidifying advancement to the collegiate level in sports with which they excel.

Berkeley County School District will hold a Job Fair on November 6th at the Berkeley Educational Center. The first session will be from 10am to 1pm and the second session will be from 5pm to 7pm. Also in attendance will be representatives from the Town of Moncks Corner, Kelly Service, Acrux, and SC Works. There are part-time and full-time job opportunities in different fields.
***A second Job Fair will be held the following week at Men Riv Educational Park on November 13th. The first session is from 10am to 1pm and the second session will be from 5pm to 7pm.

The purpose of a School Improvement Council is to work with the school principal in planning, reviewing, and evaluating school programs. Input is sought in developing strategic and school renewal plans. The most up-to-date information and data on school programs is shared each month.

Underclassmen pictures are ready to be picked up in room 101 during lunches or after school. They must be signed for!
Make-up picture day for all students (TO INCLUDE SENIORS) is Thursday, November 7th. Seniors must schedule an appointment with Mrs. Summers in room 101. There is a $27 sitting fee for Seniors due Thursday.
