Summer Meal Information
The 2023 Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program is available to all students and children in the Berkeley County community. The program is free to all children under the age of 18.

CES Music Teacher Scores a Bright Ideas grant
Congratulations to Cross Elementary on scoring a Bright Ideas grant! Music teacher Maurice Lawrence is going to buy instruments and supplies for his classroom to provide a more hands-on approach to learning music in school; this includes a parachute, scarves, drums and more.

BCSD ‘pulling out all the stops’ for National School Breakfast Week
Berkeley County School District will join schools from all over the country on March 6-10 and celebrate the benefits of breakfast as a part of National School Breakfast Week. Throughout the week, students can earn prizes which were purchased by Child Nutrition Services using Cool School points.

Cross Elementary would like to recognize Dr. Gloria A. Gilliard for being named the school's Teacher of the Year!

Being Berkeley: Anthony Broughton (aka 'MiSTER B') is a visionary leader
Anthony Broughton, known on YouTube as "MiSTER B", is a Cross native who utilized his artistic talents to get young students excited about learning through his music videos, among many other ventures. He always encourages students to remember their roots and the village that raised them.
